Our bi-monthly drone flight over Apple’s Campus 2 doesn’t reveal anything huge but things are definitely moving along from last time, especially in the foundation. Check the YouTube below and thanks again to Myithz, our eye in the sky.

Oh cool, they already filled the lake.
That building is gonna be awesome. I will love to visit it when it’s done.
if its anything like their current campus you will only me able to look at the outside and go the company store.
And that’s just the underground structure. That building is huge!
Great stuff but we can do without the loud music.
Someone always has to complain about something. Maybe you should send this guy some music that YOU want to hear along with these video updates. I think it’s great that he takes time out of his weekends to keep us all updated on the building progress since Apple’s update photos are poor resolution and too far away to see anything. After all… he’s not a professional, he’s a just a hobbyist documenting this building for fun.
We don’t need music at all. Period.
Turn down your volume and cease the bitching.
Check out the nice green landscaping (lawn) around it.
While people down the road are being told not to use water because there is a drought. And people in the area are removing their lawns to conserve water.
Those 20 – 40 year old trees? The lawn? Apple didn’t just plant them. The perimeter landscaping on Wolfe and Homestead is owned, managed, and maintained by the city of Cupertino, and has been for decades.
No, the lawn outside the gate is not owned by the city.
The right of way ends at the sidewalk.
Your mention of the trees is very misleading.
I have spent a good deal of time in that area. I was in the States when pallets of grass sod was delivered.
Yes, grass was installed as neighbors were being paid to tear their lawns out to conserve water.
Not to mention the awful traffic mess this campus will create. I pray daily the company folds. I know the watch effort and this project will speed it up.
Hey Good Jb. Awesome video and clarity. Hey would you let us know which model and make DRONE you use? I need to have one.
This was shot with a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus.
Great video, but is there any chance you could offer a higher quality option? Or is it there and I’m missing it?
It’s 1080p. I’m currently building a bigger rig that will hold 2 GoPro Hero4 blacks. So… Hopefully it’ll be ready by the time I do the next follow up so it’ll then be 4k!
That will be one incredible rig! I’ll have to check out my playback settings since I’m getting a lot of artifacts and blocking. Not a big deal, I’m just OCD when it comes to video quality. Could also be the anti-vibe effect, perhaps?
I must say I’m amazed at the stability of that drone. Very cool!
I’ve noticed that sometimes the video looks a little shaky after uploaded to YouTube. I’ve been using iMovie to edit, but have picked up Final Cut Pro X to handle the 4k better. Maybe that will help.
