Apple today updated its website to reflect that it will open its fourth retail store in Hong Kong on Canton Road at 9:00 AM local time on July 30th. We first saw photos of this store under construction back in February. The store is located at 100 Canton Road in the southern portion of Kowloon in the high-end retail area Tsim Sha Tsui. Plans for the store were announced all the way back in 2013.
Apple has recently talked of its efforts to expand its presence in China throughout 2015. Tim Cook has said in the past that China is a “key” market for the company, while retail head Angela Ahrendts has been vocal about China being one of her key factors relating to Apple being a successful retail company. Apple opened 5 new retail stores in China during the first two months of 2015 and this Tsim Sha Tsui is its fourth store in Hong Kong.
The Tsim Sha Tsui Apple Store will open July 30th at 9:00 AM local time.
