Apple fitness head Jay Blahnik to hold talk w/ Joan Benoit Samuelson & Jeanette Jenkins at NYC Apple Store

Apple’s focus on fitness is as strong as ever with Apple Watch Series 2 and the company is pushing fitness every chance it gets. Apple’s director of fitness for health technologies Jay Blahnik announced this evening that he will hold a talk at the Apple Store in SoHo with runner Joan Benoit Samuelson and trainer Jeanette Jenkins.

The talk will be held this Friday at 4:30 PM ET. It’s unlikely that the talk will be live streamed, so you’ll have to attend in person to experience it. While the event is free, you should RSVP on Apple’s website to make sure you get in.

The talk will likely center on fitness as a whole, as well as how Apple Watch is able to contribute to the industry and a person’s personal fitness.

Olympic Marathon legend Joan Benoit Samuelson and celebrity fitness trainer and first-time marathon runner, Jeanette Jenkins talk health, fitness and marathon training with Apple’s Director of Fitness for Health Technologies, Jay Blahnik.

Apple’s Jay Blahnik has held a variety of events in Apple Stores across the world to discuss fitness. Following the release of Apple Watch, Blahnik held events in Asia and Australia,  as well as the United Kingdom. He also held a Q&A session and a 5K fun run at a Chicago Apple Store.
