Apple Events app for Apple TV updated ahead of October 30th event stream

Last week, Apple officially scheduled its latest special event for October 30th. The event will be live streamed as usual, and today Apple has updated its official Apple Events app in preparation for that stream. With the app, you’ll be able to tune in live directly from your Apple TV.

With today’s update, the Apple Events app for Apple TV features interface tweaks that highlight the colorful theme of next week’s event. Apple also offers users the ability to see what time the stream will kick off in their local timezone:

Watch the special event – live from Brooklyn Academy of Music, Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York – at 10:00 a.m. (your local time)

Come event day, you’ll be able to stream the Apple event right from your Apple TV. If you’d rather watch from your computer, you can stream the event from Apple’s website, as well. A stream of the Apple October event will also be offered in select Apple stores around the world.

At the event, Apple is expected to unveil new iPad Pro models with Face ID and smaller bezels, as well as update to its Mac lineup, and more. Read our full roundup of everything to expect at the event right here.

As usual, 9to5Mac will have full live coverage of the event, so be sure to tune in next Tuesday, October 30th, at 10AM ET/7AM PT for everything you need to know.
