macOS 27.2 public beta 2 now available, here’s what’s coming

One day after rolling out macOS 27.2 beta 3 to developers, Apple is now rolling out the equivalent build for users enrolled in the public beta program. Here’s what’s new.

macOS 27.2 public beta 2 now available

After a two-week hiatus, Apple released macOS 27.2 beta 3 for developers yesterday, continuing its round of testing ahead of the system’s official release in the coming weeks.

While the iOS 27.2 betas have introduced a few new features, including a redesigned Health app, dual-capture mode for Group FaceTime sessions, and Apple TV profiles in the TV app, macOS 27.2 has been less eventful, with its headline feature being the addition of five new languages to Siri AI.

As the company announced during last month’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo event, Siri AI will soon expand to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, joining English as a supported language.

The release build for macOS 27.2 public beta 2 is 26B5101f, which is the same as yesterday’s build.
