SwiftKey for iOS gains new ‘My Top Emoji’ and ‘Emoji State’ features

Earlier this month SwiftKey for iOS gained a new emoji insight feature called “My Signature Emoji,” and now the company is further expanding on its emoji insight offerings. The company announced today that it is rolling out two new emoji insight features to users of its app, called “My Top Emoji” and “Emoji State.”

My Top Emoji is a feature that shows the emoji you use most often, represented by a cloud. For instance, the bigger the emoji in the cloud, the more often you use that emoji. This is different from the My Signature Emoji feature in that it shows the emoji you use most often, while My Signature Emoji shows the emoji you overuse when compared to the average.

The second new emoji feature, called Emoji State, tells you the U.S. state that most reflects your emoji use. SwiftKey says this feature works by comparing your emoji use to how people in each state use emojis. The feature will tell which state, based on emoji use, to which you really belong.

All three of SwiftKey’s recent new emoji features are below:

  • My Signature Emoji – the emoji you use more than other people
This emoji is generated by the emoji you overuse compared to the average – this is not the emoji you use most often.
  • My Top Emoji – the emoji you use most often
This is a cloud-like visualization of the emoji you use the most – the bigger the emoji in the ‘cloud’, the more you use it.
  • Emoji State – the US state that most reflects your emoji use*
We looked at how people use emoji in each state and compared your emoji use to that data to generate this stat. Do your emoji match up with your home state, or somewhere totally different?

Emoji insight features are available now for users of the SwiftKey on iOS. The emoji insight features can be accessed by following the steps below:

  1. Open the SwiftKey app from your homescreen

  2. Click ‘My Profile’

  3. Click ‘Your typing & emoji insights’

Has it and IOS become stable? I ended up uninstalling it some time ago after using it since it was released for IOS as it was simply too unstable.

TouchPal is my swipe keyboard! I’ve tried every swipe keyboard available and all the others were awful. TouchPal had a couple rough updates, but they’ve fixed any noticeable glitches.
