Apple has released the second iOS 9.3 beta for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to public beta testers. Today’s release follows the developer version Apple releases iOS 9.3 beta 2 with Night Shift, Touch ID Notes, & new 3D Touch earlier this week, which included tweaks and changes from the initial iOS 9.3 beta. These include updated Night Shift settings as well as a new toggle in Control Center and several other changes.
iOS 9.3 includes several new features like Night Shift mode, which changes the color temperature of the display, improvements to the Health and Activity app, Touch ID and secure passwords for Notes, and much more.
Other changes discovered in iOS 9.3 beta 2 include the ability to view your Apple Watch face from the iPhone’s Watch app without having to pair multiple Apple Watches, the removal of the wallpaper option from the Settings app’s 3D Touch quick action menu, and reorganized Night Shift settings for the special dark mode.

Seems the Settings shortcut losing the wallpaper setting is not just me
OK, the Computer Nerd in me wants to know what did you use to simulate the screen of your phone?
Apple’s built in quicktime app on mac can record the screen through lighting cable. You select the device as a source from the record dropdown.
i up fucking dated to this mother fucker, and “”””ERROR 53″”” occured. mi iphone is dead. any ideas on how can i restore it. nothing had worked, downgrade to 9.3 beta 1, or restore to 9.2, or update to 9.3 beta one. fucking nothing
DFU ?
just tried it, same error 53 persist. FML
I am a computer technician, and have been for years. Error 53 is an immediate hardware failure. It’s most commonly seen after Screen Replacements are done on your iPhone. No one has really been able to trace it to its origin, however, I have come very close. It seems to be related to TouchID. Have you had your screen replaced recently? And has your touchID worked? Most of the times, you can just put a new backplate on the screen with the cable already stuck down, because when replacing the iPhone screen, the TouchID cable is rigged to break. Very very microscopically, but I have used a magnifying glass and seen where it has broken. By putting a new backplate on, I was able to fix the error 53 issue. Basically, Apple verifies the hardware in the iPhone, and the TouchID is broken so it’s probably not sending the right key to the CPU. Sometimes unplugging TouchID will fix this as well, because the iPhone knows its gone. Anyway, hope that helps.
thanks for such a good response, no never had anything changed, repaired, or fixed neve opened for no reason, just wanted to update from ios 9.3 beta 1 to 9.3 beta 2, and BUMM, dead!! so i think ill wait for next years iphone as it will be the 10th anniversary iphone, so that one will be fine as hell
So if you haven’t broken or replaced your home button, you may be able to get out of error 53 by swapping out back plate of lcd, new screen, charge port, or battery. Error 53 is big fuck you to repair community and is a hardware complaint. If it’s caused by damaged home button, your phone is fuked and need full replacement. If it’s something else, you may be able to get it up and running again. Reports of devices right out the box with this error too, sooooooo wtf it exactly we still don’t know. Just happen to see your comment and I wanted to help catch you up on apples fuk tard move of 53 error… It’s been a shitty last few months dealing with customers, and shit coworkers fuking up home buttons in the past and now the customer coming back to the shop complaining about their royally fuked device.
Nice to see the update is small and not 1.6 GB like 9.3 beta 1.
I updated to iOS 9.3 PB2 on iPod Touch 5th Gen., but I don’t see Night Shift. Is there a reason?
I think it is 64-bit devices only
Damn, I was going to use my iPhone 5 as a tester… Lol
i wonder why apple doesn’t offer the ability to disconnect the carrier’s on/off switch in control centre?
There should be an option to change wifi networks directly from the control center.
Did they fix the buggy Safari yet?
If you are referring to the issue yesterday morning, yes, fairly early in the day. If you’re still seeing issues, you likely have to clear your cache.
Since I updated to this, my phone is no longer recognized for Apple CarPlay in my car. Is this happening to anyone else?
