Apple updates emoji in latest OS X and iOS betas with new Apple Watch, iPhone and Mac icons

In the newest betas of iOS and OS X, Apple has updated its emoji icons for Apple hardware along with the expected racial diversity additions. This includes an image of the Apple Watch replacing a stereotypical wristwatch, as well as new graphics of an iPhone and an iMac. Previously, the icons depicted older 3.5 inch iPhones (iPhone 4) and a generic computer image.

The Apple Watch will be released in April, with iOS 8.3 expected to be released in the same timeframe. iOS 8.2, also in beta right now, will be released in March.
