Pocket Storm, the never-repeating audio thunderstorm app, will be arriving on the Apple TV App Store when that goes live.
I released Pocket Storm for iOS a couple of years ago. It’s not a simple audio loop; it generates an audio environment from a rich set of sound samples which are assembled in an infinite variety of ways. It cycles from a calm summer night to a crashing storm and back in 60 minutes — or 30 or 15 minutes, if you like. Or you can pick a weather setting and hold it there for as long as you want.
If it works on your phone, I figured it would work even better in your living room. So I’ve ported Pocket Storm to the Apple TV. (Yeah, I know, it’s not really in your pocket any more…) Works great. Fits the new UI beautifully.
(This is a joint iOS/tvOS purchase. If you already own Pocket Storm for iOS, you can download the tvOS version for free, once it’s available.)
