In a blast from the past, Apple to offer $50 off HP printers in its retail stores

Tomorrow night, Apple Stores across the country will be refreshed with new posters, layouts, and accessories for the summer. This store refresh follows some minor changes to Apple Retail Store layouts due to the new Back to School offers.

One of the new focal points of this upcoming Apple Store layout refresh is the promotion of third-party printers. This promotion will include new selections of HP and Epson printers. Notably, the promotion will instantly save customers $50 on select HP models:

For several years, up until early 2012, Apple gave Mac customers $100 off of printers by way of a rebate program.
