Spotify for iPhone/iPad (finally) lets you search downloaded music while offline

Spotify has updated its iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch application with the ability to search for downloaded tracks while offline. It is shocking that it has taken several years for the service to gain such rudimentary functionality. The iPhone app gained a new design earlier this year.

    it’s been in the app’s code for a while, but they kept it experimental-only

      Most likely from a design perspective. Not sure where or how to include it without confusing users. There’s nothing worse than 2 search bars that look the same but have different functionality.
