9to5Mac has once again scoured the App Store for all the latest app launches, price drops, noteworthy news, and updates, and we have compiled everything in a roundup below. Check it out, but keep coming back as we continually refresh the list throughout the day.

News

1. Pocket God | 99 cents
Bolt Creative just launched the 47th and “final-ish” content update for its episodic microgame app. The update brought “Episode 47: Apocalypse, Ow!” to users, access to the Apocalypse Temple’s Closet Room, and a strange Pygmy named Tom. Bolt Creative teased Episode 47 on it’s blog last friday, and it announced the new episode launch today:

The final conflict has begun. The answers to the Temple are being unleashed, and they don’t bode well for the Pygmies until they solve the ultimate puzzle and save their world.

So check out this very final-ish update (after all the apocalypse is in two days)  for Pocket God, as we get “The Runs” ready for unleashing next year!

1. TuneIn Radio Pro | 99 cents
Version 3.3. went live early this morning and included a new design, the ability for users to pick up right where they left off when resuming the most recent recording or podcast, and access to 24 college football bowl games (visit http://s.tunein.com/bowlgames to learn more). TuneIn said it also improved streaming stability for a number of formats.

2. TuneIn Radio | Free
Same version and update as above—but these tweaks apply to the free version of the Pro app.

3. Evernote Food | Free
Version 2.0 launched today with an all-new design, and the app is now available on iPad. With Evernote Food, users can explore recipes, browse their clipped recipes collected in My Cookbook, discover new restaurants, add cuisines to meals, share meals easily via favorite social channels, and sync all their data.

4. Need For Speed Most Wanted | 99 cents
Version 1.0.2 is now available with more cars and new events.  Users can now “start some trouble” with the Marussia B2 and the Pagani Zonda R, test-drive their new wheels in two new Hot Rides Events, and race NFS Edition cars like the Hummer H1 Alpha, the Pagani Huayra, and more. However, each vehicle is only available for one week. Users can collect as many new rides as they can to unlock new milestones, too. The update also sports “some under-the-hood modifications to keep your game finely tuned and smoother than ever.”

5. Fruit Ninja | 99 cents
Version 1.8.4 (514) also launched early this morning, but this app brought support for iPhone 5. It also included new blades, extra backgrounds, and fresh challenges, such as:

  • NEW BLADES: Cloud Kicker – Predict your own weather!; Sakura Slicer – Let the petals fall in the wind
  • NEW BACKGROUNDS: Cloudy Skies – Get some fresh air!; Cherry Blossom Background – Let the flower viewing festival begin!
  • NEW CHALLENGES: Sharpen your skills and unlock awesome new swag!
  • FRUIT STORE: Check out all the awesome new Fruit Ninja goodies to purchase, located in the Dojo!

6. Fieldrunners 2 | 99 cents
Version 1.4 includes support for iPhone 5, new weapons, new items, and bug fixes. The weapons include Polymorph Tower and Napalm Tower, while the new items include Santa Strike, Frostinator, Superpack, and Ultrapack. The big fixes are for iCloud and “resolution automatically adjusts to fix memory issues!”

7. Hotwire Hotels | Free
Version 1.2 allows users to view trips offline, and the update sports a simpler calendar with separate date selectors for check-in and check-out.

8. AmpliTube Free for iPad | Free
Version 2.8.1 includes new Jimi Hendrix Gear Models now available for in-app purchase and fixes for application launch crashes that occurred when updating from version 2.7.

9. Block Ops | 99 cents
Version 1.2 only includes “sensitivity options.”

10. Flickr | Free
Version 2.01.772 just launched with better visibility of photo upload status, easier options for sharing Flickr photos on Facebook, instant notifications when Facebook friends join Flickr, easy ways to find Twitter contacts on Flickr, new notifications when someone comments on a photo a user has also commented on, and fixed issues with Google sign-in.

11. ESPN ScoreCenter | Free
Version 3.0 landed today, and the app’s description includes the following change log:

ScoreCenter has been completely revamped and optimized for iPhone 5 and iOS 6. With a new design and simple navigation, ScoreCenter makes it easier than ever to access the latest scores, news, and video clips for all of your favorite teams and sports.

12. CloudOn for iPhone | Free
Version 3.0 just landed with support for iPhone. CloudOn brings Microsoft Office to mobile device with Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and SkyDrive integration. The update also included support for iPhone 5, iPod Touch, iPad Mini, and SkyDrive. The latest version further added a new Reading mode  for easy reading on the iPhone.

13. Where To? | $2.99
Version 6.0 is now live with a bevy of new features, including: display directions within the app, choose from car, bike or pedestrian directions, share directions via email, improved experience when launched from Maps app, and a newly designed third-party directions app browser. The full change log also listed the following tweaks:

  •  Menus with pictures (selected US locations)
  • Events, Bios, Products (selected US locations)
  • Extended listings with longer description texts, Facebook and Twitter profiles, spoken languages, service areas (selected US locations)
  • Improved API to launch Where To? from third party apps
  • numerous bug fixes

14. Tumblr | Free
Version 3.2.3 is up and running with optimization for the iPad. It also boasts Markdown support and a beautiful new Explore tab.

15. Camera+  | Sale: 99 cents
Version 3.7.1 only brought bug fixes, but we thought the app’s description was cute notable enough to share:

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the App Store, Not a creature was stirring, not even a Spore. Some crash bugs were fixed with the greatest of care, So that you, our beloved Camera+ user, could take photos with flair! We’ll never do shady things with your shared pics because it just isn’t right. And on that note… Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

16. KORG Inc. Apps | 50 percent off
Along with launching a 50 percent off sale for its line of synth and music production apps, the widely renowned instrument company also pushed out updates for iKaossilator, iPolysix, iMS-20, iElectribe, and iElectribe Gorillaz Edition. Check it out:

  • iKaossilator is at version 2.2.0 with display size of iPhone 5 is completely supported, new background audio support that allows users to play other music apps, and iCloud data backup
  • iPolysix is at version 1.1.0 with background audio support that allows users to play other music apps, iCloud data backup, and a new “Audiobus” feature that enables audio streaming between iOS Musical Instrument App.
  • IMS-20 is at version 1.6.0 with Retina Display support, background audio support that allows users to play other music apps, iCloud data backup, an “Audiobus” feature that enables audio streaming between iOS Musical Instrument Apps, a new Virtual MIDI option to enable MIDI communication between iOS Musical Instrument Apps, and a few bugs fixes.
  • iElectribe is at version 1.6.0 and got all the new features of version 1.6.0 in IMS-20, but it included a new “Beat Flutter” function to allow users to vary rhythm patterns real timely and randomly for live performance by stroking pad.
  • The Gorillaz Edition of iElectribe is at  version 1.1.0, and the update includes background audio support that allows users to play other music apps, iCloud data backup, an”Audiobus” feature that enables audio streaming between iOS Musical Instrument Apps, Virtual MIDI options to enable MIDI communication between iOS Musical Instrument Apps, and a few bug fixes.

1. Splashtop 2 for Mac | Launch price: Free (regular $19.99)
Splashtop is the self-touted No. 1 selling remote desktop app, and now it is rolling out version 2 on the Mac. According to the press release, key features include:

  • Remote access to Windows or Mac applications, games, multimedia content, and files without the need to sync files or data
  • Support for LAN, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G connections (access via the Internet requires the Anywhere Access Pack in-app purchase)
  • Support for Apple Retina display (when using native resolution)
  • Streaming of high-definition videos and other multimedia contents at up to 30 frames per second
  • Sub 30 millisecond latency, enabling a highly responsive user experience for interactive 3D PC games such as Witcher, Shogun, Diablo, or EA Sports
