Twitterrific today has been updated with support for the Apple Watch. The update comes on the heels of Yelp also being updated with support for Apple’s latest product. The Twitterrific update bumps the app to version 5.11 and also includes actionable notifications. You can now reply to, favorite, and retweet tweets directly from the notification.
On the Apple Watch, Glance View with Twitterrific allows you to easily and quickly track tweet statistics, including retweets, favorites, and follower counts. To gain access to more Apple Watch features, you must buy the $1.99 in-app purchase for push notifications.
With the purchase of push notifications, you can receive Twitterrific notifications on your Apple Watch, including alerts for mentions, replies, direct messages, retweets, favorites, and new followers. You can also use Force Touch to compose a new tweet with Siri dictation on the Apple Watch, as well as reply to mentions and direct messages with dictation.
Twitterrific is available on the App Store now. The official Twitter for iOS app also has Apple Watch support, but most third-party clients do not, making Twitterrific unique at this point. You can view our full breakdown of the best Apple Watch apps here.
