Tim Cook to again appear at WSJ.D Live conference next month

The Wall Street Journal today announced that Apple CEO Tim Cook will appear at the second annual WSJ.D Live conference in October. Cook, of course, appeared at the inaugural WSJ.D conference last year and gave an in-depth interview with the publication. This year’s conference is slated to run from October 19th through October 21st at The Montage in Laguna Beach, California.

Last year at the WSJ.D conference, Cook discussed a variety of topics ranging from Apple Watch to Apple Pay and Alibaba to Apple TV and much more. You can read our live blog of last year’s interview here. Cook’s specific time slot for this year’s WSJ.D appearance has not yet been announced. Other notable speakers include Xiaomi co-founder Bin Lin, Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins, IBM CEO Virginia Rometty, and Facebook Chief Product Officer Chris Cox.

Cook recently appeared on Good Morning America to discuss education with Robin Roberts. Last week, Cook appeared at a Cisco event to announce a new joint partnership between Apple and Cisco to improve the collaboration and meeting experiences across iOS devices. Later this month, Cook is also slated to appear at Box’s BoxWorks conference. The BoxWorks conference will take place from September 28th through September 30th at Moscone Center in San Francisco. Cook is slated to speak on September 29th and we will have live coverage of his interview.

At both the BoxWorks and WSJ.D events, it is likely that Cook will discuss Apple’s newest announcements, including the iPhone 6s, new Apple TV, and iPad Pro. Apple Watch will also likely be a hot topic.
