iPhone 7 Plus

Apple has released iOS 10.0.3 for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The update includes a bug fix for users who were temporarily experiencing loss of cellular connectivity on new iPhone models. Apple also pushed out an update to its Classroom app that should fix issues with the education app not being able to find other student devices.

Today’s iOS 10.0.3 update should resolve some of cell network connectivity issues our readers have been experiencing. We recently wrote about reports on poor phone quality with Verizon where users were experiencing incoming calls where the audio seemed distant. T-Mobile customers had issues with cell network connections during the original iOS 10 launch where they even recommended customers to hold off on upgrading.

iOS 10.0.3’s release notes:

  • Fixes bugs including an issue where some users could temporarily lose cellular connectivity.

iOS 10.0.2 introduced bug fixes that put a focus on addressing the problems with headphone audio controls no longer working, Photos crashes for those who had enabled iCloud Photo Library, and issues when enabling app extensions.

iOS 10.1 is set to release later this year, and will include Portrait Mode (the new Depth Effect) for iPhone 7 Plus users. iOS 10.1 is currently in beta for developers and public beta users and includes changes to Messages and other apps as well.

Apple also pushed out an update today to their Classroom app that fixes issues with the application not being able to find other nearby student devices.
