Apple releases updated iOS 10.1.1 build for iPhone and iPad, no OTA update needed

Originally released a few weeks back, Apple has re-released iOS 10.1.1 today for the iPhone and iPad.

Though no release notes or changes have been noted, today’s iOS 10.1.1 update brings the build up to 14B150 from 14B100.

In the past when these small build number changes occurred, they were related to server updates so an OTA update is not to be expected. If you’re currently on iOS 10.1.1, you most likely won’t be able to, nor need to, download today’s update.

The original iOS 10.1.1 release included a fix for Health app bugs. iOS 10.1 delivered Portrait mode to iPhone 7 Plus while iOS 10.2 is currently in beta and includes Apple’s upcoming TV app.
