Twelve South launches PlugBug Duo, charges two devices in addition to your MacBook

Twelve South has unveiled its latest Apple accessory today, PlugBug Duo. Building on the popularity of its PlugBug World, the new release offers the same benefits like five international adapters, but now adds two USB-A ports to your MacBook charger.

PlugBug Duo offers solid value by simplifying the accessories you travel with as it transforms your MacBook charger to feature two standard USB ports along with international adapters. It also means that you can charge three devices with one outlet, particularly handy when away from home.

Highlights:

  • Adds 2 traditional USB charging ports to your MacBook Pro
  • Charges 3 items from just one outlet (MacBook + 2 USB-charged items)
  • Adapts MacBook to over 150 countries with 5 included Plug Adapters
  • Available 12 Watts rapid-charges all iPhones & iPads

The 12W is split between the two USB A ports, but if you’re charging a smaller device like AirPods or Apple Watch alongside your iPhone or iPad, you should still get the benefit of faster charging.

PlugBug Duo attaches directly to your MacBook’s USB-C charger (or MagSafe charger too) for an easy all-in-one charging solution. But you can also use PlugBug Duo on its own if you don’t need to charge your Mac.

The newest PlugBug features the same red paint job that makes it easy to spot in your bag. It is available now, direct from Twelve South for $50.
