Following Apple’s event at Steve Jobs Theater last week, Tim Cook is in New York City this week as Apple stores around the country prepare for the launch of the iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4 on Friday.
Cook took to Twitter this afternoon to share an image from his visit to the Apple store in SoHo. In his tweet, Cook thanked Apple store staff around the world as they prepare for the iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4 release on Friday:
Thanks Apple Soho and to our team around the world for the hard work you’re doing this week and all year round! Can’t wait for Friday.
While at the Soho Apple store, Cook mingled with employees and customers alike. Several eager fans took to Instagram to share their own respective selfies with the Apple CEO.
Tim Cook regularly visits Apple stores, both as planned and unplanned trips. In March, he visited Apple’s Michigan Avenue store in Chicago, while other trips have taken him to Apple stores in Toronto, Palo Alto, France, and more.
The iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4 will be available from Apple stores around the world on Friday, which is also when the first pre-orders will arrive to customers.
