Skype for iPhone/iPod Touch approaches four million downloads

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that one out of every 10 iPhone and iPod touch devices has downloaded the Skype app.  At the last count (earnings call), Apple had distributed 37 million iPhones and iPod Touches.  Now we are probably closer to 40 million, which would put Skype’s total at close to a four million installations. 

Skype had passed the million mark within a few days of its launch on March 31st.  Then on April 8th, it passed 2 million.
