According to Sprint’s website, the carrier will be offering $100 discounts on the new iPhones to customers who port their number over to Sprint from another carrier. With this promotion, the iPhone 5c will cost $0 for a 16GB model and $99 for a 32GB model. The iPhone 5s will come out to $99 for 16GB, $199 for 32GB, and $299 for 64GB. The iPhone 4s, like the 16GB iPhone 5c, will be free of charge.
Of course, this promotion means you have to sign a contract with Sprint. On September 20th (which is the day that the new iPhones launch), Sprint will rollout a “One Up” yearly upgrade program that allows users to pay the unsubsidized cost of a phone on a monthly basis. The $100 off promotion for the iPhones is a limited time offer. Last week, Sprint announced a similar program for the Moto X. Thanks, Alex!

It’s nice to see the flexibility (or desperation) by the various carriers. It might be good for resale, except for one important note by BGR: https://twitter.com/boygenius/status/378157046505697280
Still wont work, had Sprint when the 5 came out, service was so awful I promptly returned it and waited another month for Verizon.
Unlimited data is useless if you cant get reception for data anywhere.
It’s crap that people who have suffered with sprint already will not get these prices
yeah I remember that’s how it used to be when I first started owning a cell phone. back in the day you couldn’t get a new phone as an existing customer neither. it caused a high rate of churn for cell phone companies.
