An update to the GoPro app that allows users to remotely control their GoPro cameras has been a long time coming. Just in time for iOS 8, today the app finally gets an overhaul for iOS 7 with a completely redesigned UI that ditches that super outdated design the app has been sporting for quite a while now.
The navigation of the app remains similar to the previous version, but the entire app has been updated with an iOS 7 style design with flat icons, a more vibrant color scheme, and an overall streamlined design. The new iPhone version of the updated GoPro app is pictured above, but the iPad version gets the same treatment. Here’s a look:
The app allows GoPro camera users to remotely control all camera functions wirelessly from their iPhone or iPad, view photos and video playback, wirelessly update camera hardware, and share content to social networks.
Version 2.4 of the GoPro app for iPhone and iPad is available on the App Store now.

Now that iOS8 Beta is released, they redesigned for iOS7? What do they want to do after iOS8?
Nothing, because there is no need to update for iOS 8. The design language has not changed.
All GoPro cameras are compatible with this app?
