Following the release of YouTube Creator Studio for Android, Google has now made the app available for iOS devices. What’s the Creator Studio, you ask? Well, Google has finally created an all-in-one app hub for YouTube creators to access channel/video-specific information. Basically, it’s only helpful if you actually make (or plan to make) YouTube videos.
Essentially this app will provide quick access to video/channel analytics, comment moderation tools, YouTube-related notifications, and the traditional Video Manager that’s found on the desktop site. Within the Video Manager, you’ll also have the ability to edit your published video information such as titles, descriptions, tags, and more.
The initial launch of the Creator Studio app came along with several other new features on YouTube including 48 and 60fps supported uploads, and an upcoming “tip jar” (currently in beta) that will allow users to tip their favorite creators. These new features are slowly rolling out to select partnered channels, but the apps for iOS and Android are available for anyone to download.
Here are the release notes:
The official YouTube Creator Studio app makes it faster and easier to manage your channel on the go. Check out your latest stats, respond to comments, and get customized notifications so you can stay connected from anywhere.
- Monitor channel and video performance with easy-to-use analytics
- Filter and respond to fan comments
- Customize push notifications so you can stay on top of what you care about most
- Update your video details and settings
As mentioned above, this app won’t do much unless you’re a YouTube creator, but if you are this will be very helpful. Google’s YouTube Creator Studio for iOS is available for free on the App Store and compatible with iPhone and iPod touch.

Awesome.
This is a great evolution for YouTube. Making video posters into creatives is a bold move. We think it will pay off.
Cool! This makes YT management so much easier when on the road, as the web interface is shockingly poor. Why they didn’t either fix the web UI or deliver this kind if app 5 years ago is beyond me.
You guys post entirely too much Google news. I for one would love to see a drastic reduction in everything Google here. You already have a Google-dedicated site.
… but it’s an app made for iOS.
I like the app that GOOGLE providing for editing and comments statistic really awesome. http://wp.me/p3zd1e-1E5
