Tim Cook appeared on Charlie Rose in a multi-part interview, the first of which airs today. In three clips released by the show, Cook discusses Steve Jobs’s continuing inspiration at at Apple, the Beats Electronics acquisition, and the Apple TV, the company’s “hobby device” turned full product category.

I love Charlie Rose. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tim Cook as comfortable as this in an interview before. Much more revealing.

Yeah, he seems much more intensive here than the loooong monologues on stage. Nice to see a human behind the robot.

Never seen such emotion from Tim Cook, EVER. The passion he spoke with irt Beats was great. We need to see more of this side of TC.
Did you watch the video for the last keynote? There were times where he was absolutely fangirling. He’s a very strange and very cool guy.
This is what I had on my mind too after watching these. He was also very excited and open on the keynote.
I was skeptical about Beats too, but it’s really much better than Spotify or Deezer, that I tried. It truly suggests stuff I like and unlike Spotify, if my girlfriend listens to one Rihanna song, I’m not going to see suggestions based on that since I didn’t heart it.
So we’ll have new wireless Beats by Apple next year.
