Microsoft has released the latest version of Skype for Mac with adjusted color contrast for improved readability and a long list of bug fixes. Skype 7.2 for Mac arrives less than two months after the voice calling and messaging app received a major overhaul in time for OS X Yosemite.
The bug fixes mainly resolve crashing issues that some Skype for Mac users have been experiencing, including when changing profile pictures, playing test sounds and navigating pages during the welcome tour, clicking the call phone number or SMS buttons and more.
Microsoft is aware that Skype for Mac may encounter high CPU usage when idle on a profile page, listing the problem as a known issue but not yet providing a workaround solution. The complete changelog of new features and fixed issues for Skype 7.2 follows below:

Skype 7.2 for Mac requires OS X Mavericks or later. The latest Skype update is available for free. Your fixes however resulted in ANOTHER GLITCH on the Mac version. When someone logs in, in the log in notification box, it doesn’t say they signed on, but instead it says more like command text or something.
