Following Fantastical’s recent debut on the Apple Watch, which includes the full iCloud Reminders experience and more, Flexibits is delivering a neat new drafts feature to the intelligent calendar app and newly added support for another language.
Fantastical users can enjoy a clever new multitasking feature like the one Apple added to Mail in iOS 8. The new feature lets you begin creating an event or reminder, then drag down the template to reference another item on your calendar that you may need before completing the entry. This even works for creating multiple drafts of events or reminders just like in Apple’s iOS 8 Mail app. The new draft feature is currently only on the iPhone and iPod touch.
In addition to its new draft feature, Fantastical 2.4 also adds full localization for Japanese on the iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad. Fantastical’s support for the Japanese language extends to its intelligent language parsing engine, which lets you create events and reminders by dictating or typing lines like “Lunch with Bob at 5pm” or “todo take out the trash at 8:30” rather than manually creating events. Japanese localization joins support for English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Fantastical 2 for iPhone + Apple Watch is available for $4.99 on the App Store while Fantastical 2 for iPad is available for $9.99 on the App Store. Existing Fantastical 2 customers can update to today’s 2.4 update for free. The update is rolling out now.

The price of this app should drop, dramatically. It is an awesome app but much too expensive.
Add to that that you have to pay 2x to get the iPad and iPhone version. AND the fact that they make you pay again after a couple of years if you want the latest version (Fantastical 1, 2,…)
The price of the apps on iOS are completely reasonable. I don’t understand why the OS X app is so astronomical.
