In this week’s top stories: Apple officially scheduled its iPhone 7 event for next Wednesday, September the 7th, as yet more details of the device and a second-gen Apple Watch 2 leaked this week. Head below for these and more of our top shared stories:

With Apple making things official for its ‘See you on the 7th’ iPhone 7 event, we did our usual roundup of what to expect this week. Yet more leaks rolled in, including a report today backing up previous rumors of IPX7 waterproofing, 12 megapixel cameras, and a piano black finish for the new iPhones.

Apple leaked its own plans to launch new wireless Beats headphones alongside iPhone 7 as accessory makers raced to announce new products for the first iPhone expected to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack.

We move onto a few Apple Watch 2 reports of GPS functionality and improved battery life coming to the second-generation wearable, one report of new MacBook Air, iMac & 5K displays coming in October, and much more.
