At the Jamf Nation User Conference, Jamf has announced that SAP has chosen them to manage 17,000 Mac, 83,000 iOS and 170 Apple TV devices. SAP will also be leveraging the integration between Jamf Pro and Microsoft Azure Directory to offer a seamless experience from the first login all the way to signing into Exchange 365 accounts.
SAP decided to reorganize its IT department to create an Apple Center of Excellence team and chose Jamf because they felt like it had the best focus on the user experience. Since the launch of the iPhone in 2007, Apple devices had been growing and growing in the enterprise. What used to be a Windows-dominated world is now seeing device types from all different manufacturers. SAP plans to leverage Jamf Self Service to make it easy for employees to get the apps they need without having to call IT.
