A new set of photos sent to us by a tipster claim to show the packaging for the Sport model of the Apple Watch. We previously got a look at the wearable device’s packaging when it was put on display with the watch itself, but this is the first time we’ve seen how the watches are being shipped.
The first photo above appears to be a wider box that contains several smaller boxes (pictured on the right). The smaller boxes are what you’ll get when you buy your Apple Watch, while the larger ones are simply for shipping.
Now this is exciting!!!
You sure thats not just the end of the long skinny box that is pictured on the left?
826-00349-A… marked down in the right corner. That doesn’t seem like Apple. Weird.
Yeah. It’s also interesting to note that the graphic on the box is not a photo of an actual Apple Watch, as is customary with Apple product packaging. Though it is nearly identical to the icon of the Watch app in iOS.
We know from unboxings posted by reviewers that the standard Watch has that stylized icon (with matching band) rather than an actual picture of the product on its box.
Check out the bar codes on an iPhone box. 826-XXXX-A is standard Apple. http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/ufiles/70/1037670.jpg
The right box, is the side from the long box.
