Today, Apple has provided the first seed of the upcoming OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 to registered developers. We previously reported that Apple had seeded the 10.9.1 update to its employees along with a future 10.9.2 release. It’s currently unclear when those operating systems will reach the Macs of customers. Apple asks developers to focus on Mail, Graphics Drivers, and VoiceOver in their testing. Apple previously seeded an update to customers to fix Mavericks Mail problems. The 10.9.1 seed is labeled as build 13B27.

I hope they include the Exchange fix in Mail that was supposed to be in the Mail update that was released last week. Since upgrading from Mountain Lion to Mavericks, my inbox updates sporadically or only when I shut down and restart Mail. This is true across the Macs accessing my office Exchange server, including one that I wiped and reloaded Mavericks freshly.
Same hear, no change from ML to Mavericks. Mail still performs the same with my Exchange account. I really hope they release the fix in 10.9.1.
It looks like it’s been fixed on 10.9.1 update. I am running this update on my mac, but I can say certainly that Exchange issue is still there.
*NOT fixed. Sorry for missing that.
Does this include the latest Safari build, and are there any fixes to the “jittery scrolling” that seems to be related to over-sensitive 360 scrolling.
Epson scanners (old 1250) do not work with 10.9 either. This is even after downloading the latest Epson Scan utility.
Great. You realize it’s a beta, right? I ask that, despite knowing for a fact that you have a clue.
So is local offline sync between ios and os x calendar and address book coming back?
FYI: It is not Apple’s job to certify 3rd party scanners work with OS X. That’s up to the developer.
Regarding the Scanner problem, OS X has always had an excellent scanner function accessed from the Printers and Scanners System Preference. I haven’t used Epson Scan in 5 or 6 years. I always use the built in interface. It has all the options I needed for all my Epson Printers
