Apple is opening up a new suite of offices inside Israel this week, with CEO Tim Cook reportedly visiting Israel in part to inaugurate the new workspace. Recent reports have indicated that the offices will hold approximately 800 employees across 180,000 square feet of space.
Today, Israel-based website GSM-Israel has published purported photos of the upcoming new Apple space in Herzliya. The construction, features, and tables are all in line with Apple’s offices in others parts of the world. A full gallery of the new offices can be viewed below.
Apple has a history of working in Israel from purchases of companies like Anobit and PrimeSense, to the construction of research and development offices. Cook has also previously met with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During this upcoming visit, Cook will reportedly meet with former President Shimon Peres.

Israel, ישראל :)
Just a small correction, Shimon Peres is not the President anymore..
Yeah, title remains the same in the United States at least but will amend with “former” to clarify. Thanks.
Cubicles and tiny offices. Wow.
Successful company with tiny cubicles will open a offices with tiny cubicles in a TINY country but SUCCESSFUL COUNTRY. So who cares of the offices are tiny.
They shouldn’t be doing business with a country like Israel.
This is the same as if they opened offices and labs in places like Syria or Russia. It’s the duty of the civilized, non-warlike states that support human rights to stick together and isolate the old-school bigots and xenophobes. They certainly shouldn’t be doing business with what’s essentially an Apartheid state, where half of the citizens have less rights than the rest.
Stores are one thing. Actually doing your business in a country like that is something else entirely.
are you kidding? you just drink the lies of the social media. check your “facts” before writing them.
Not going to get into all the ignorant comments about Israel, but unfortunately, we don’t have Apple Retail Stores yet (though the [or is it “an”? not sure] official reseller here does imitate them in some ways). Hopefully with them expanding their operations here, Stores will follow…
Tell that to Johnny Srouji the Apple VP who has championed the opening of development centers in israel, who also happens to be an Israeli Arab who was born and studied in Haifa. He’ll be surprised to learn that apparently he isn’t an equal citizen.

Pretty tired of reading the same lies again and again.
I figured a lot of folks would get upset at my remarks but for the record, they are well researched and based on solid facts. Simply saying I’m “drinking the Kool-Aide” or whatever is a pointless, silly accusation that could be thrown right back at those who use it.
Apple stores in Israel would be a great boon. It always helps for socially backward cultures to experience mainstream “western” culture IMO. “Doing business” with Israel however is clearly something that should be avoided until they do something about their absolutely horrendous human rights record. Apple wouldn’t set up shop in other similarly morally challenged states and an exception should not be made for the Israelis.
Also, just to cut off the inevitable at the pass … remember that it’s not anti-Semitic to be against Israel or Zionism. Some of histories most famous Jews were, and still are adamantly against both as well. Many more are alright with the ideal of Israel, yet sorely disappointed with the unfortunate reality of the Israeli state.
I’m sorry to tell you that your remarks are not well researched at all.
Im sick and tired of ignorance about Israel.
How can you possibly compare Israel to Syria?! Are you serious?! Do you know how many Syrian people died in the last year? How many died today?! Have you seen Syrian cities..? Just unbelievble you are comparing the Syrian situation to Israel. There are so many groups that are fighting in Syria that everybody just lost count. The army is just slaughtering people on a daily basis just because they protested against the regime and not to mention all the islamic extremests groups that have joint forces in syria also killing everyone who is not muslim enough for them.
Israel is a democratic state. As a democratic state, all Israeli civilians have the same civilan rights. Every Israeli – including jewish, muslim or christian civilan, has the same civil rights! There is no discrimination what so ever based on racist origins! You should check your sources, because you are just wrong. Arab civilan get exaclty the same rights as i have, in some cases even more. So don’t even think about comparing Israel to Syria.
Sad to read more hate on a tech blog. You call Israelis bigots and xenophobes because?? You should immediately dump everything you use on a daily basis that comes from Israel. Start by shutting off your computer powered by Intel in Israel…
It’s amazing to think what you think. It’s more amazing that you think what you think. What’s even more amazing is the Israels succes probably eats you up every day.
Sorry you gotta live with it. ;)
Absolutely pathetic. How can you possibly compare Israel, a western democratic society to a Hitler-esque leader like Assad in Syria or Russia who invades Ukraine at will, makes it illegal to be a homosexual. In Israel, there are gay parades, all minorities are treated as equals. The Israeli-Arabs who make up 20% of Israel’s population are the freest, most-educated, highest paid Arabs in all of the Middle East. A recent poll showed 86% of those Arabs would not want to live anywhere esle in the world. You’re a disgrace.
Your ignorance is beyond repair. “Being against Israel” as you call it in your simpleton hateful voice is the only proof I need. I’m willing to bet you are ignorant to the fact 23% of all Israeli citizens are Arab Muslims. and I’m not talking about Gaza or the west Bank. I’m talking about Arab Israeli Citizens, who vote, who run for office. Have you ever checked the list of arabs serving in Israel’s parliament? I suggest you try that if you dare. But I’m pretty sure your small mind will refuse to accept it.
Know lots of Jews serving in parliaments in Arab countries? Israel is a beacon of democracy and the facts its bitter enemies fire thousands upon thousands of rockets against it from within densely populated civilian areas hoping for retaliation that’ll look good on the news (aka Palestinian Blood Porn) does not strip Israel of the right to defend itself against those who vowed to die or destroy it.
Israel is a 60+ year old miracle. A country of holocaust survivors who built a super high tech nation in the middle of a desert to the envy of its enemies who to this day nerve gas their own children and never had a day of democracy in their life.
Shame on you for your ignorance, hate and stupidity. You’re beyond repair…
Following in the footstep of IBM 70 years later. May you personally reap what you have sown.
What a joke.
