By now we should be aware of the bendgate issue but it doesn’t concern me much. I take good care of my phone.
I’m more concerned and somewhat irritated that my iPhone 6 Plus, keeps yanking out my my hair when I’m making call. Initially I thought it was the hair sticking to the screen protector. But upon closer inspection, it was the seam between the glass and aluminium– hair gets stuck and when you try to free it out, it hurts. I believe it’s not only me.
Anyone else getting beard hairs pulled by the iPhone 6/Plus? It catches my scruff in the seam and yanks it during calls. #hurts #beardgate

My hair keeps getting caught in the microscopic seam between glass and aluminium on my iPhone 6

The seam on my iPhone 6 where the aluminum meets the glass is definitely catching my hair and pulling it out. #seamgate

[Editor’s note:]
After rubbing my iPhone 6 on my 1 week old beard stubble for about 10 minutes in a variety of directions, I got a pinch #beardgate

had the same on the Galaxy S5 :D, shit hurts too
wtf? who use the iPhone to make calls? :P
Would you rather a gap big enough to fit a credit card?
Remedy: shave. You’re welcome.
“You’re shaving it wrong.”
There’s a name for a man without a beard. A woman.
Haha. My iPhone 5s would do this to me too. I thought I was the only one. Haven’t experienced this on my 6.
This happened with my beard with several Android devices as well. It also happens with shirts, scarves and pretty much anything with a tooth, gap or stickiness.
My suggestion, it’s life, get the F*** over it. Stop complaining, next thing you know, someone will blame them for not getting pregnant, because they couldn’t put it down.
I am finding that my Iphone gets finicky for several hours after I use it to deglaze a saute pan. Especially the Allclad Copper Core . Is anyone else having this problem.
I thought I was the only one!
Happened to me constantly on my 5S, hasn’t happened on the 6 yet. Such is life, Jony Ive’s beard isn’t long enough to get caught in the phone so it is flawless :-)
The best thing is that judging from the profile pictures none of them actually have hair.
Typical Ive design: looks great on a pedestal but plagued by usage issues in the real world.
Yes, the iPhone 6 is “plagued by usage issue”. Ummmmmm … okay.
You might want to read the article before commenting, fanboy.
My Samsung S5 used to do that to me all the time. It would pull my friends hair when she talked on hers too. Haven’t noticed yet with the 6 Plus.
Just get a case and you’ll be fine.
So buying an iPhone is not all that is required to use it, I must buy a case as well? No thanks. I’ll buy a phone that is ready to use out of the box.
Bigger question is why you have a screen protector on your iPhone? (or any 2014 for that matter)
you all seeing this wrong, its just the hidden handsfree feature, first sit on it so it will bend and fits better around your yawbone, with a downwards move you can hang it in your beard or goldielocks (bold people can use a wig) #IphoneMadness
No problem, I think you people might have accidentally activated the new iPhone app called Hairstyler. LOL
Bald men everywhere will now sue Apple!
One of Apple’s new iPhone features; iHairClipper.
This story smells. Now that Samsung has admitted to a gap between the glass and metal frame of its new Galaxty Note 4 (which they were quick to spin as a “feature not a fault”) following a rash of complaints from customers in Korea where the device has just been released, this article appears. The Note 4’s gap has been observed to be wide enough to fit the edge of a business card. Desperate to give this story legs, some have tried to dub it “hair gate.” More like “Samsung distraction gate.”
I stuck my iPhone 6 way deep in my mouth and choked and my wife had to do the Heimlich Maneuver on me. This wouldn’t have happened when Steve Jobs was in charge. Throatgate – Pass it on.
Must be a Mac thing – my MacBookPro used to yank haris out of my wrists all the time when I was typing. It was horrible.
Yep – hair gets snagged too / and i have really short hair but catches my temple!! bit niffed!
First there was #bendgate … now there’s #hairgate
If I club my iPhone 6 against my my head really hard I start to bleed. Oh my god. How bad is that!
Yeah, and also rubbing my hand in a variety of directions, I got a pinch. How weird!!!
my s7 edge is yanking out several strands at once and giving me a headache!!!
