Today, Kwikset has announced the release of Halo Select, a new smart door lock designed with built-in Wi-Fi and Matter (and therefore includes HomeKit) support. You can control the lock via the Kwikset app, enabling remote access, locking/unlocking, and granting entry to guests through unique codes or in-app, with real-time notifications to track activity. You can also control it once you integrate it with your smart home platform.
