Apple announces special event for September 9th: ‘Wish we could say more’

Apple has just sent out press invites for its latest event, via The Loop, where the company is expected to announce the iPhone 6. The event is scheduled for 10 AM Pacific Time on September 9th. Atypically, Apple is holding the event at a new venue, the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino. This is the same venue that Apple introduced the original Mac, over 30 years ago. Apple has constructed a ‘three-story structure’ at the site, which may be used as the hands-on area after the presentation is over. Usually, Apple’s demo areas are only the size of a large room and do not span multiple floors.

Yesterday, Recode reported that Apple will also show off its new wrist wearable device (‘iWatch’) at the September 9th event. Unsurprisingly, the invite does not reveal specifics about what Apple will announce, bearing a rather bland image of the Apple logo coupled with the slogan ‘Wish we could say more’. Feel free to speculate what you think will be announced in the comments. A full screenshot of the email is after the break.

As shown by numerous part leaks, the iPhone 6 should come in two sizes, 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, although it is unclear whether the 5.5 inch version will be mentioned at the press event, as it is reportedly not set to launch for sometime after the 4.7 inch variant. The iPhone 6 models will feature a new A8 processor and come preloaded with iOS 8. Rumors of NFC — for some sort of mobile payments system — are also prevalent.

Details on the iWatch hardware are much more scarce. 9to5Mac has reported extensively on the device’s rich health and fitness capabilities, with Apple having hired many high-profile people for the project. In July, analyst Ming-Cho Kuo said that the iWatch will feature a flexible AMOLED display, although other reports about hardware specifics are hard to come by. Until Recode’s report yesterday, it was widely assumed that the iWatch would not debut until October.

Whoa !!!!! Finally ! Keeping Fingers Crossed ! Thanks Benjamin !

    • Well obviously the iPhone 6, but i really wanna see the iWatch even though there weren’t a lot of leaks. Im still hopeful, fingers crossed

      • Of course there were not iWatch leaks. Think. They will be brand new product line, not the one that already exists. They one great tactics with product like this is to announce it before it is actually in the production ;)

      • BenRadUK - 10 years ago

Could be coincidence, but the writing in the invite, along with the top of the Apple do make the shape of a heart: Healthkit?
Apple stem with a long shadow looks like a sundial: iWatch?
The fact they are making a 3-storey building i.e. a small home: HomeKit?
“Wish we could say more”: likely a reference to “One more thing”. Well this is the 1st new category announcement since Steve Jobs died so…Bringing back the infamous “One more thing”
Lastly…and here is where I stumble: Apple TV. iWatch + HomeKit = automated home via Apple TV? This would likely be the 1st Apple developed hardware where they can truly exhibit how they expect 3rd parties to work with HomeKit. It’s the only home related item Apple make now…could it be updated and demoed using iWatch???
Find out after these short messages folks!!!

      • Interesting analysis Mr. BenRadUK.

However, equally interesting and perhaps even disturbing is that a 3-storey building constitutes a small home.

Oh, how the the other half live.

      • BenRadUK - 10 years ago

Sorry Darren, I should have been more clear: I live in a 1 bed apartment. I would consider a 3 storey building as “small” when it is about to accommodate over 2000 attendees at an Apple event. In retrospect, I should have explained better.

    • Jason Reece - 10 years ago

More than a sundial reference. If you draw a circle around the shadow and position it correctly, it points to 10 o clock – the start time of the event.

    • iWatch just doesn’t seem like a product to wait for. If it is true, it won’t be released on September 9th, but whenever the 5.5″ iPhone 6 is debuted. It will most likely sell well with the bigger iPhone. It seems rather stupid to buy a watch from Apple for $499, but that’s my opinion of course.

  2. Jacob Alford - 10 years ago

Hmmm… “Wish we could say more.” If I had to guess they’re ironically alluding to the fact that they’re so secretive – lol.

    • quandmeme - 10 years ago

That is general, for it to make sense specifically, doesn’t it have to be about more ways to SAY something. Maybe as dumb as two phones, but I think they are excited about the voice iMessages being initiated on the wrist device–another way to say something.

Like others I think that the big deal with the voice iMessages at the WWDC demo was odd if it wasn’t the set up for the wrist device.

  3. Michael Griz - 10 years ago

Maybe the Dark Line between the leave and the apple could be the second pointer.

  4. Well obviously the iPhone 6, but i really wanna see the iWatch even though there weren’t a lot of leaks. Im still hopeful, fingers crossed

  5. blockbusterbuzz - 10 years ago

I have got to say that this is my favorite invitation Apple has made since the Steve Jobs era. Looks slick!

    • herb02135go - 10 years ago

Good graphic design. That’s one thing Apple does well.

      • Yeah, hardware/software integration + Industrial Design + defining new markets you know, they’re ok at, but graphics, boy, that’s where they really shine LoL! I’m just giving you a hard time bro, I know what you’re getting at — I think!

      • Edison Wrzosek - 10 years ago

STFU troll, I’ve had it with you… Your kind need to be confined to your mother’s basements without Internet access…

  6. frikova - 10 years ago

Makes me think that the iWatch features will be very Siri-based.

So more than Dick Tracy-ey, it will be a Michael Knight’s KITT watch without the car. Nice.

  7. jreed1235 - 10 years ago

Look at how the shadow being cast from the apple leaf is very much like a sun dial… There’s the hint!

  8. With the major improvement of voice to speech and the new audio memos feature in the Messages app, it seems that Apple is really trying to push the whole “saying things to your phone to make them happen” idea. I’m excited to see what other new things they’re going to do with it.

  9. lellis2k (@lellis2k) - 10 years ago

“Wish we could say more” is an anagram of “Cowhide Serums A Owly”.
Obvious really, the iWatch will have a leather strap and can cure sick owls. Case Closed.

    • latinoboyboy - 10 years ago

This! You my friend should decode ancient secrets. :D lol

    • lkernan - 10 years ago

      “and can cure sick owls”
It’s about time someone thought of the owls.

  10. herb02135go - 10 years ago

    This is interesting.
It will be nice to see if there are any new innovations, besides the features already available elsewhere.

BTW, Flint Center would be a different location. It’s not new, as it’s been around for decades.

    • Jordan Biffle - 10 years ago

Flint Center is where they announced the Mac. And recently, Apple has been constructing something there.

    • o0smoothies0o - 10 years ago

Features available elsewhere that do nothing because they were added to convince idiots to buy them just because they are there. For example, NFC is a complete gimmick and is completely niche until Apple makes it useful. A barometer has been in many phones for years, but it’s a complete gimmick and useless until Apple makes it useful with whatever they have planned for it in the iPhone 6.

Samsung throws gimmicks and specs at unintelligent people and lures them all in with them. For example the heart rate sensor on the galaxy s5 I believe it is.. complete gimmick hahaha. Couldn’t be a more blatant gimmick. Anyone with average intelligence can check their heart rate at any time with just a clock. Holding your finger on a phone to randomly check your heart rate is absolutely useless. Heart rate monitoring is only useful if it is constantly monitored (hence Apple’s wearable having biosensors). It’s laughable how bad Samsung is, and it’s sad they treat their customers to gimmicky features like that. The next time you have your galaxy S5 and go for a run you should definitely check your heart rate whilst doing so by holding your finger on your phone. Ha ha ha ha

      • Randy March - 10 years ago

Completely agree. I’m telling the same thing to friends that defend Apple’s rivals (how sillily worded :-p ). You don’t have to be biased to say that almost all features on iPhone are useful to at least some extent to most people.

  11. robert garza (@rbgarz) - 10 years ago

I think the fact that the leaf is casting a shadow is representative of a sun dial…which tells time…which is like a waaaaatch.

    • Cun Con - 10 years ago

So the digits didn’t tell about time/digital watch? Those are main focus: digits. What about Big Apple logo (big iPhone 6)? no/white color graphic?

  12. Jose Antonio - 10 years ago

C’mom, could the reference to a sundial be more clear?…

  13. thejuanald - 10 years ago

“Apple has just sent out press invites for his latest event”

So I guess corporations really are people!

  14. Adam Burke (@burkamus) - 10 years ago

Wish we could say more is alluding to a bigger iPhone. Thw word “say” being a reference to the phone itself, and the word “more” alluding to a bigger phone. And then the obvious Sundial reference.

  15. Cortney Stewart - 10 years ago

    iCar. So excited.

  16. Josh Keyes (@doctorjo5) - 10 years ago

The “Say more” part makes me think of Siri.

    • rettun1 - 10 years ago

I thought the same. Or it could pertain to the wearable, with voice being one of the primary methods of input

  17. prata (@pratafw) - 10 years ago

Considering that the iOS beta releases stopped much earlier than previous years and there wasn’t any significant announcement on new Siri features, I think they are likely to present big news regarding Siri features strongly related to a possible iWatch.

  18. Ali Mcpherson Sr. - 10 years ago

“Wish we could say more”….I’m thinking this could be about some new VOIP where we can talk as much as we want without the carriers being involved.

  19. Victor Martino - 10 years ago

The fact that there is a sundial hint not only indicates a smartwatch, but possibly a solar powered one!!!!! That would really help with the battery issues that other smartwatches have!

  20. acslater017 - 10 years ago

Sweet! They probably built a mock-up home to show off all the home automation/Homekit stuff. If it was just a big iPhone, the usual Yerba Buena Center would be sufficient. Combined with yesterday’s rumblings that the iWatch would be revealed simultaneously, and the “say more” tag, I think it’s a pretty clear that something unique is brewing for the 9th!!

  21. Ryan Madrigal - 10 years ago

Flip the two 9’s and the form two 6’s confirming two different iphon6’s? 4.7 5.5 inch

  22. Gene Park - 10 years ago

    about time!

  23. Mustafa Gerçek - 10 years ago

I think that there are some hints in the invitation.
    1. the Sun dial everyone is mentioning
    2. the Apple (looks like an “ass” :)) looks extremely like the wave, we see when using Siri
    3. The Apple may be a hint for a flexible display

For me, the main and most interesting part is the glucose-thing. If the “watch” is able to measure non-invasively the glucose level, Apple is hinting another billion-market for its own.

The thing about measuring a molecule level brings much much more opportunities and potential to that device. Because with that hardware, you have “just” to program software to measure more molecule levels. That would define a new market, like the Appstore did, where third-party apps measures “everything” (medic-levels, toxication level, blood-lipid level, even inflammation level would be possible).

    Let’s see, what will happen.

  24. Usman Ul Haque - 10 years ago

Pertaining to the “Wish we could say more” tagline, ‪‎TimCook‬ could revive Steve Jobs’ iconic ‪‎”One More Thing”‬ and conclude the event with a ‪‎surprise‬ product announcement. iWatch?

  25. Jack Gnasty - 10 years ago

It’s interesting how many see a sundial in the invite. We see what we are looking for. So those who are expecting a “watch” by the simplest of definitions, I suppose that leaf could resemble a sundial in the sense that they both cast shadows… I’m not reading much into the stark imagery. I see this future product being more of a fitness band than watch. I see the invite as saying nothing at all, thus “Wish we could say more”. Unlike the colorful theme of last years invite, there is no message to be read.

    • o0smoothies0o - 10 years ago

It’s a revolution of the watch. Just as the iPhone is a revolution of the phone. iWatch – I watch my biometrics because I have a wearable sensor laden device attached to my body, constantly monitoring my biometrics.

  26. One thing I sincerely hope is that the iWatch, whenever it comes out, does not have speaker+mic, a’la Dick Tracy. It’ll be an awful waste of precious battery and, guys, the Dick Tracy years are over. Get over it. This isn’t about a childhood dream coming through, this is technology in 2014.

  27. Could we see the return of “One more thing…”

  28. Jacob Alford - 10 years ago

How about this: “Wish we could say more [than what we’ve already said].” Now what did they already say? Nothing explicit. So what were they talking about? They were talking about the allusion to the sun dial in the picture itself! The essential #nuffSaid of Apple.

  29. Eirik Odden Solberg - 10 years ago

If you turn the picture up side down, then you can se that 9.9.2014 is a two six like it is coming two new iPhones. Also as many other has said it is a sundial between the leaf and the apple. :)

  30. MaRico NoHands Spikes - 10 years ago

Diffinitly see a heart shape, a shadow being cast , maybe a 3D Apple emblem, maybe solar and nothing much else.

  31. aaronblackblog - 10 years ago

Just my guess–The iWatch will be primarily a Siri based device. Cuts down on the amount of gestures needed on the small screen of the watch itself and allows you to control your phone via Siri without walking around with a phone at an odd angle to your face while you bark commands in it. So it lets you “Say more.” And the sundial thing seems pretty obvious as a confirmation of the watch.

    • o0smoothies0o - 10 years ago

I think people are much more likely to talk to their phone than raise their wrist to their mouth and speak to it. I know I wouldn’t be caught dead doing it in public.

    • so basically no different than android wear which heavily relies on google now? Definitely not innovate.

  32. Matt Byers - 10 years ago

Wish we could say more “One more thing” will probably be said

  33. Brian Ramage (@BJMRamage) - 10 years ago

Looks like the Long Shadow Icons will be coming to iOS8.

  34. Jeff - 10 years ago

Multiple floors. Maybe the expected early announcement of the next iPad as well?

  35. Andrzej Czarkowski - 10 years ago

Apple will obviously present new models of iPhones and most likely an iWatch. What I actually think by looking at those pictures is that Apple is building a mockup of a house. Now think about this. Having the iWatch combined with HomeKit gives you enormous potential of having personalised experience in your house. You move from room to room and thanks to bluetooth technology in the iWatch lights, music, etc. adjust to your preferences (something similar to what I believe Bill Gates has in his own house).

  36. Uccello - 10 years ago

I’ll add to the wild speculation … a 3-story demo center would be big enough to have a climbing wall so the new “iWatch” biometric features could be tested.

  37. x1prince - 10 years ago

“Wish we could say more.” Corresponds to the title of the class related to health during WWDC! On the WWDC app they had a lot of classes named “wouldn’t you like to know” or “TBA” as an example! But one three or four where named “Wish we could say more.” All of which where related to health!

  38. At this point, I’ve gotta imagine this is MUCH bigger than just iPhone 6. Clearly they expect the iWatch to be big. Really big.

  39. chrisl84 - 10 years ago

I really hope Apple TV gets some love on the 9th too

  40. The angle of the shadow perfectly matches 8am (the start of registration for the event) on a sundial as observed from above, as seen in this image:

    http://www.mysundial.ca/tsp/images/digital_equatorial_sundial_layout.jpg

  41. taylormapps - 10 years ago

This seems to be the most eagerly awaited event in sometime from Apple. Lets hope it has some great leading products. iWatch and new iPhones will be good but i think the next revolution will stem back to the the brands biggest strength with connectivity that is throughout the home.

  42. Tim Jr. - 10 years ago

One thing.. The invite is a very ‘big’ Apple.. a hint toward size?

  43. rettun1 - 10 years ago

My crazy prediction: the screen of the iwatch will resemble the leaf on the Apple logo, something like this: ()

    • o0smoothies0o - 10 years ago

As I’ve said in the past I think it will have curved sides, but flat top and bottom like this: ( ) except top and bottom are flat across.

  44. latinoboyboy - 10 years ago

Wish we could say more, because you already know everything from leaks. Well actually you don’t know about the iWatch….

    • Cun Con - 10 years ago

Since when Apple event has to respond to the leaks? Please.

      • There was that one time when the iPhone 4 prototype was picked up from a bar and then Steve Jobs said “stop me if you’ve seen this” during the unveiling.

      • Cun Con - 10 years ago

And was that on the event logo/invitation? The iPhone 4 loss was real thing. All the leak was just part with no confirmation but speculations. Bottom line, Apple event invitation has nothing to do with the leaks or rumors…

      • latinoboyboy - 10 years ago

Simmer down buddy, I was cracking a joke! I didn’t intend for people to think that’s what the tag line meant and was implying. Patrick @infrablue07 yeah, I remember that! lol

  45. dm33 - 10 years ago

Esperanto…. its a blatant clue! Need I say more?

    Obviously its all about speech.
    Or not.

  46. Zoheb Khan - 10 years ago

    ‘Wish we could say more’
might mean that it might get many features !!
finger crossed and excited !! :D

  47. Nick Pomes - 10 years ago

Go to AppleTimer.com to see a neat countdown to the event!

  48. Cun Con - 10 years ago

    To sum up:
    1. Big apple logo: larger iPhone?
    2. Heart shape: Health Kit integration (with a device)?
    3. Digital date format: iWatch?
    4. Sun Shadow: anti-reflective screen?
    5. “Wish We Could Say More”: Everything already said by Siri?
    5. No color: no color iPhone (lol)

    Anything else?

    • YU No - 10 years ago

Yeah like any of the Apple’s event invitations has had anything to do with the products actually presented.

  49. Cun Con - 10 years ago

This announcement just hours after Samsung Gear S was announced and no one give a shtt about the Gear S anymore….You see the shadow of Apple leaf? Yup, that means when Apple release the smart watch, whatever watch announced so far are in its shadow…lol.

  50. whatyoutalkingboutwillis - 10 years ago

The Apple in the image is white. Snow is white. Snow white ate an apple. Snow white slept for a long time, thus showing that Apple will have a watch with sleep tracking features.

    • lexxkoto - 10 years ago

No, it’s obviously “snow white” because they’ll announce an iWatch that runs Snow Leopard.

  51. Peter Wilkinson - 10 years ago

I am looking forward to seeing the new iWatch, if integrated well, could be the product of the year and I do hope that the iPhone 6 is going the waterproof.

  52. larry bic (@larbic) - 10 years ago

You people make me laugh. “Feel free to speculate…..” Why? Rumors, guesses, speculation. What is up with that? Sure, it’s fun, but what’s the point, otherwise? It’s a waste of space and it’s tiring. Apple will announce some awesome stuff and lots of people will want them. Stuff that will help you communicate, be productive and get healthy. You already know that, don’t you? They will sell millions and make more billions of dollars. AAPL will reach new all time highs. You know that, too. They will help support the economies and the workers of China, Korea and California and Arizona. They will lead the industry in social responsibility and environmental sustainability. That’s what matters, not endless rumors and speculation. Just get your credit card ready. That’s all you have to do.

    • terry610246 - 10 years ago

I love it when poster’s use the ‘You people’ term to attempt to elevate themselves above everyone. We humble ourselves at your level-headedness fella.

  53. Taste_of_Apple - 10 years ago

Boom. Can’t wait. Let’s see what they have to show us.

  54. jackdtomlinson - 10 years ago

They have used upside down ‘6’s’ as ‘9’s’ with that typeface. #hint #hint

  55. So what sort of price are we talking for the iPhone 6/6L in Pounds? Let’s say the 32 GB model of both, as the 5S retails for £629 here.

    • distressedcactus - 10 years ago

I’d say the 6 4.7″ would stay at the same price new iPhones always cost (Except the 5C.) The 5.5″ is a different story though…

  56. YesFav (@yesfav) - 10 years ago

“Nite nite, 2014. Wish we could say more.” – This is the interpretation I am getting from the invite. With that in mind, I am predicting that this is the last event that Apple will hold for the rest of this year. This means that Apple is going all out and introduce holiday products as well.

  57. Emiliano Abascal Gurria - 10 years ago

If you think about it, there is a good chance that they will come up with new iPods too, analyze it, the latest iPod touch came out in 9/1/2012, and it came out because the iPhone 5 came out (screen re size) I know there are no rumors about this but it’s possible.

  58. Mark McKeown - 10 years ago

‘More’ sizes – 4.7 and 5.5 inch models. Two 9’s – two iPhone 6’s upside down.

  59. applecorps69 - 10 years ago

What I see in the invite is a sport band. The apple leaf is actually a round face held at an angle. The band straps are extending left and right of center. Center seems to be hollow indicating to me that the actual device can be interchanged with other types/colors of wrist bands. Anyone else able to see this?

  60. Eric Zudanovtschik - 10 years ago

So, because some say it looks like a sun clock, I inserted a round clock on top of the image and looked up where the shadow is pointing to.
I drew a line diagonally to fit the shadows degree and it points to 4 o’clock, OR … 10 o’clock (which is the time for the presentation)
    http://imgur.com/QKfDHkL

  61. distressedcactus - 10 years ago

Does the logo in the picture sorta give the “Material Design” theme that Android L uses to anyone else? Kinda weird….

  62. terry610246 - 10 years ago

As has already been alluded to, the shadow suggests a sundial. This may point to a timepiece, possibly solar.
The clue for me is the phrase “Wish we could say more”
More than what? Well, up to this point on the poster they have gauche is the date of he event. How could they say more that this? They could also ‘tell the time’.
Again a clue to a watch?

  63. If you take the first two letters from each word, it spells out:

    Wiwe Cosamo.

    Just saying….

  64. Klaus Dietrich Lange - 10 years ago

the “big” Apple maybe because it´s a “big”, major event.

  65. lexxkoto - 10 years ago

They usually include a sneaky reference in the title of their events.

“It’s Showtime” was about TV shows and movies coming to iTunes. “Back to the Mac” was about taking things from iOS and bringing them back to Lion. “We’ve got a little more to show you” was about the iPad mini being 7.9 inches rather than the usual 7 inches. “This should brighten everyone’s day” was about the new, colourful iPhone 5C.

I wonder what “Wish we could say more” means? Siri on an iWatch, that can read out alerts? They’ve already mentioned the new audio messaging in iOS 8.

  66. Paul Iossi - 10 years ago

Couldn’t resist adding a few more observation/speculations to the clues hunt here: the graphic is in black and white with an emphasis on a shadow cast by a strong light source (hence the iWatch may have a black and white display to both conserve power and to enable high visibility in sunlight much like e-Ink had, only better, while enabling solar charging – perhaps it may never need plugging in, given sufficient ambient light exposure?). The digits would seem to indicate no dial hand based watch-face, making possible a slimmer display with perhaps a simple scrolling display for other functions, saving battery power.

The “Wish we could say more” reference could be interpreted several ways – it may be a reference to using the iWatch in conjunction with the already announced new audio iMessages feature to avoid the need to pull the iPhone out from a pocket/bag for iMessage audio text messaging when jogging or when hands are occupied, etc. The emphasis here could be on using voice rather than graphics for the iWatch to enable a much smaller display area – no bulky smart-watch display, just a sleek, modern, minimalist design – and again, less/no need for color. This in conjunction with using the iWatch as a front-end for accessing Siri’s newly enhanced abilities. This approach would continue to evolve the use of voice for interaction and demonstrate Apple’s commitment to further developing Siri’s potential rather than orphaning it as a somewhat useful but stagnant feature.

A more prosaic reference would also pull double-duty to the obvious reference to the device “saying” more about our heart/health functions with the heart shaped Apple graphic.

The large structure going up at the event venue may point towards using the iWatch to control home automation from room to room as others have speculated – or it could simply be that there is a huge number of new products to be displayed in the hands-on demo area – so they need the additional space – Cook did reference the biggest, most exciting roll-out in Apple history during an interview, perhaps there will be much more to see than the new iPhones and iWatch. New iPads, new Retina-display iMacs anyone?

I think others are right about the larger Apple graphic also referencing the larger screens.

  67. chad crane (@mrqu29) - 10 years ago

I think the “wish we could say more” refers to their impending launch of Voice Over LTE

  68. theagentmike - 10 years ago

Does anyone know if they are going to make a live stream video for this event?

  69. Computer_Whiz123 - 10 years ago

My sister will be SO pissed! Her birthday is the 8th and I will undoubtedly be obsessing over this instead…

  70. Jeremy Lucy - 10 years ago

The invite looks like a sundial. Sundial = iWatch. How am I the first one to notice this?

  71. sanguiseritmeus - 10 years ago

Easy. Obvious. Flip the two 9’s in the invitation date upside down and you have TWO SIXES!!! (As in two iPhone 6’s).

  72. Sharon Meyer (@Rofden) - 10 years ago

Forget all the hype about the iWatch – it is quite clear if you take “Wish we could say more” as a question.

A quantum leap in Siri’s capabilities is going to be announced.

The largest launch in years & in the same building as the original launch of the Macintosh in 1984 – Apple see this as a massive announcement & a complete game changer.

What do you think these huge data centres built by Apple are for? iCloud???

The emphasis on the wave in the apple logo is also a dead giveaway – just compare it to Siri’s waverform.

This is all effectively backend stuff so not surprising that nothing has shown up in the IOS 8 betas – likewise the announcement of Siri with the 4S wasn’t indicated from the content of the betas

I was thinking exactly this a little while ago! I thought it was possible that the slogan refers to “offline” Siri being announced on the iPhone 6. Finally a phone powerful enough to allow system-wide commands and dictation without requiring internet connectivity. Currently you need 3/4G or Wifi just to ask Siri to open an app…maybe with iPhone 6 you don’t?
Also, this would still tie in very nicely with an iWatch. Think about it: you can talk to your iWatch to open Mail and dictate an email onto your iPhone. It would be seriously pointless if you were limited to doing this ONLY when you have internet connectivity. That would limit the usefulness of the iWatch.
      So…OFFLINE SIRI????

So, the apple is huge, which could mean something bigger than we normally see (bigger iPhone). Also, there is a shadow under the apple stem, which could possibly be a sundial-type hint for the iWatch.

I think U2 will has something to do with the big white “box” and they will be PR either the iPhone6 or the iWatch the way (excuse et moi) Rolling Stones once promoted Windows with their song “Start Me Up”
