iOS 18 release date: What time will it launch? [U]

We’re at the end of the iOS 18 beta for developers and public testers as Apple has scheduled the official launch for today, Monday, September, 16. But what time will the update be released for everyone with all the new features? Here’s when to expect the iOS 18 release.

Update 9/16 10:04 am PT: iOS 18 is now available.

Update 9/13: Unless Apple throws a curveball, iOS 18 should be available at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET on Monday, September 16.

If you don’t want to wait, you can install the free (and stable) public beta right now.

Apple first reveals its major updates of iOS during the annual WWDC keynote and launches the developer beta within hours. Next, the first free iOS public beta usually launches about a month later with the official public release coming shortly after the fall iPhone event.

However, this cycle has been different with Apple simultaneously running the iOS 18 and 18.1 betas.
