Starbucks taps Apple VP Isabel Ge Mahe for board of directors role

Apple’s VP and Managing Director of Greater China, Isabel Ge Mahe, is joining Starbucks’ board of directors. The company said the addition of Ge Mahe and two others would “expand Starbucks Board of world-class, values-based leaders, as it continues to build an enduring company.”

Apple’s September event brought us the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 5, launch details for Apple Arcade and Apple TV+, and even the new seventh-generation iPad with a larger 10.2-inch screen. Octopus Apple Pay support in Hong Kong: more details emerge from iOS 13 beta

After an initial clue in June, the following month saw official confirmation from Apple that Octopus Apple Pay support will be part of iOS 13.

As 9to5Mac first reported back in April, Apple is working on a Tag device – similar to the Tile tracker – that can be attached to any object such as keys or a backpack and tracked in the new Find My app. We now have more to share about both Apple’s item tracker as well as the company’s so-called Apple Glasses project.
