DDM is not a future concept or an option for Apple fleets. It is now how Apple expects organizations to manage updates, apps, and policies across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro. This is a technical and mental change and a vendor litmus test for IT teams. If your device management provider is not fully committed to DDM, Apple just gave you a reason to start planning your transition and the tools to do so.
