After previously announcing the feature and showing it off last month in a promotional teaser, Realmac Software is finally bringing the highly requested reminders functionality to the popular Clear to-do list app on both the Mac and iOS platform. The latest version also brings some extra goodies that add even more personality to the app like new sound packs. Check out the details below to see how the latest version of Clear measures up as an alternative to Apple’s own Reminders application and other apps as well. Expand Expanding Close
Fantastical isn’t the only app with a new version on the way. Realmac Software, makers of the popular to-do list app Clear, have been hyping the addition of Reminders functionality since late last year and expected to ship the update around this time. Realmac says its still fine tuning the Reminders experience in Clear and expects to release the update early next month. This marks the first time we’ve seen a shot of how the Reminders function will look in Clear (seen above) as well as a blurred teaser for the Mac version as well (notice the calendar date picker).
tl;dr Use this, not this, and read on to find out how and why.
Last September, Realmac released a new version of its to-do list app Clear that included visual tweaks and iOS 7 feature support. This version of Clear also ran natively on the iPad for the first time and was a separate purchase from the App Store.
This lead to a great deal of feedback from customers displeased with having to buy a new version of Clear for an iOS 7 update on the iPhone (especially when iPad support for the biggest selling point, but not every iPhone customer has an iPad)… Expand Expanding Close
With the debut of Ember for iOS today, the image collection app from Realmac Software just got a lot more useful with iCloud sync connecting your Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
Does the complete Ember suite have what it takes to stack up against Photo Stream, Dropbox, and other image syncing solutions? Check out my week-long hands-on experience below…
The 90s brought with it a plethora of culture and fun (myself included) from breakthrough Nintendo handheld video games to pop music and weird boy bands (like Britney Spears and N*SYNC). We recently witnessed N*SYNC reunite, but something else from the 90s needed modernizing: Tamagotchi, the digital pet you fed and loved as a kid.
That’s where Hatch steps in… err, hatches… right on your iPhone!
In a collaborative effort between Impending and Realmac Software, who last teamed up to deliver Clear, the two studios deliver on what is an absolutely adorable and lovable game for the iPhone. “Ember is your digital scrapbook of things that inspire you”
Realmac Software has been busy at work this year, releasing Analog Camera for iPhone, updates to Clear and Analog for Mac, and now releasing the next generation of its digital scrapbook LittleSnapper, now known as Ember for Mac.
Ember simplifies the management of screenshots and web clips into collections and features annotation functionality. Ember can even plug in to popular sites that feature beautiful imagery like Dribbble and National Geographic. In addition, integrated services like Messages, Twitter, Flickr, and CloudApp allow for easy image sharing.

If you haven’t already tried Analog for Mac, it allows you to edit and add filters with varying intensity, frame and crop, and share photos on your Mac to Facebook, Flickr, CloudApp, and other services. It’s a great time to try Analog for Mac as it adds new filters and drops its price in half for the next few days. Expand Expanding Close
As promised, Analog Camera for iPhone and iPod touch has hit the App Store to fulfill your filtered photo taking needs. I had a chance to spend some time with the app over the Memorial Day weekend and quickly decided it’s a keeper.
Analog Camera is a seriously fun and fast camera app with personality, as we would expect from the makers of Clear for iPhone and Mac (and soon iPad), that features eight different photo filters and all the social network sharing you could ever need.
Analog Camera’s easy sharing features allow you to open photos you shoot or edit within the app in other apps including Instagram. This feature is especially cool if you’re feeling spunky and want to experiment with double filters or blurring features offered with Instagram.
Capture and process an image in Analog Camera, then jump right over to Instagram or similar apps to share.
Realmac Software is on the brink of launching its fun new camera app Analog Camera for iPhone, but it has one more major task to mark off its list before we all get our hands on it. With its latest update to Clear, that item can now be swiped right off the list.
Clear on the iPhone and Mac both were updated today receiving a frequently requested feature: list sharing over email.

From the wonderful folks who brought you Clear for iPhone and Mac, Realmac Software announced today it will bring a few of its stunning filters from Analog for Mac to the iPhone with Analog Camera.
Analog Camera for iPhone resembles the simplistic, gesture based UI of Clear for iPhone, featuring soft square or rectangle buttons that pop up upon contact and prompt fun, clever sounds.
