As expected, Apple has released iOS 26.0.1 for iPhone users with a handful of important bug fixes. Most notably, Apple says the update fixes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems that were impacting some iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air users.

Earlier this month, Moonlock, the cybersecurity division of MacPaw, released its Mac Security Survey 2025. It surveyed nearly 2,000 macOS users about their habits, concerns, and overall perceptions of cybersecurity on Mac. Most notably, the findings reveal an interesting shift in how Mac users perceive malware and the overall strength of Apple’s defenses.

Update September 27, 2025: We’re still waiting on Apple to release iOS 26.0.1 to everyone, but it seems very close. An anonymous account on X indicates the update will feature the build number 23A355. I’d expect the update to be released in the next several days.
There have also been recent reports of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and CarPlay problems for iPhone 17 users. Hopefully, iOS 26.0.1 will fix those problems.
