iOS 27 beta 2 includes Write with Siri, the new version of Apple Intelligence writing tools

iOS 27 beta 2 includes our first look at the new Write with Siri features, which replace the standalone Writings Tools feature introduced as part of the first wave of the iOS 18 Apple Intelligence rollout.

When editing text, the keyboard now prompts the user to write with Siri. This allows you to ask Siri using a natural language request to generate new text, proofread something you already wrote, rewrite a document into another style, and more.

It’s not unusual for both hardware and software companies to make claims about faster performance for new models and new software releases. I generally roll my eyes a little at these since they often refer to tiny improvements that would hardly be noticed in real life usage.

Apple has claimed more than 40 speed improvements in iOS 27, and I have to say that I did do a little eye rolling …
