Apple has also turned on the ability to schedule and purchase labs through Quest Diagnostics from the new Health app in iOS 27.2 beta.

iOS 27 is a big update for Apple’s Photos app, with improvements to slideshows, shared albums, and more. It also adds a welcome camera roll-type feature many have long been asking for: ‘Captured by Me.’

There’s an annoying little iPhone notification glitch impacting some users on iOS 27. For those affected, the Settings app gets a red badge prompting an alert to ‘Activate iCloud Storage’.

However, tapping on this alert simply navigates to the iCloud storage purchase screen and the alert does not go away after dismissing it. This glitched notification appears even when the user has plenty of available iCloud storage already, like if they are on a 2 TB family Apple One plan.

Last week, Apple officially released iOS 27 to everyone. The update comes with many new security features, which is nice given how lackluster iOS 26 was in that area.
