Here’s everything new in iOS 27 and more, per Apple’s keynote list

Apple’s WWDC keynote revealed a lot of new features in iOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, and more—most of which were displayed on a single slide for just a moment. Here are all of those listed features in a more accessible, organized format. There are even more changes coming in iOS 27, but this is everything Apple listed on that big keynote slide.

While WWDC26 is winding down, I’ve had time to reflect on Monday’s keynote, where Apple spent most of its time preaching to parents about on-device Child Safety and, of course, Siri AI.

However, it also showcased something insanely neat and ingenious on Apple’s part that is largely being overshadowed. I’m referring to the new agentic AI feature now in iOS 27’s Passwords app.

iOS 27: Your iPhone can now boot into a new Mac-like recovery mode

iOS 27 introduces a new device recovery mode. This is a Mac-like recovery feature where the iPhone is able to boot into an alternative UI that doesn’t involve loading the entirety of the main operating system.

In the new recovery mode, you can use restore your software, enter diagnostics mode, erase the device, and perform some automated fixes using Recovery Assistant.

Apple is giving Screen Time and parental controls a long overdue upgrade in iOS 27

Apple is making a major push around child safety and parental controls with iOS 27, including a completely redesigned Screen Time experience, new limits for websites, expanded communication controls, and more flexible tools for managing when kids can use apps. The changes are part of Apple’s broader OS 27 updates across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro.
