AirPods Max have had a bit of a disappointing history. After much anticipation, they finally released at the tail end of 2020. Some fans were disappointed with the high price tag and rather heavy aluminum and steel design, and have been looking forward to a revamp ever since.
Despite being refreshed last year, it was merely just a USB-C port swap and new colors. The headphones still lack in features compared to Apple’s newer AirPods Pro 2, and that likely won’t be changing.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman spilled some more details about the upcoming foldable iPhone in his Power On newsletter today.
He says the foldable iPhone will open like a book to reveal a larger inner display, like many Android foldables. The foldable iPhone will feature a total of four cameras, one on the front screen, one on the inside and two on the back. It will also use Touch ID for biometrics and use Apple’s in-house cellular modem for connectivity.

However, the company seems to be prepared to mitigate for that somewhat. Users on Reddit discovered that when they went to cancel their subscription in the Apple TV app, they were presented with a 54% discount offer for two months.

Last month, we heard some news from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo about Apple entering a new segment of the laptop market. The company is reportedly working on a new MacBook at a lower starting price point than the MacBook Air, and it’ll apparently pack the A18 Pro chip found in iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
While a cheaper MacBook is certainly a welcome add, the question truly stands: will Apple do it properly, or will it serve as another decoy model?

The iPad Air hasn’t been a particularly interesting product for a number of years. Apple redesigned it in 2020 with the fourth generation model, and since then – it’s just been spec bumps and small feature upgrades. However, I think the next refresh could be a great opportunity to introduce a large feature upgrade: Face ID.

As someone who had the only Mac in the company I worked for 20 years ago, it’s been a fun journey to see Apple grow so much in the enterprise, particularly the Mac. Macs have quietly become the go-to device for a lot of modern knowledge work, and with that comes a growing reality as AI functionality becomes baked into everything. AI tools are everywhere. Some are built into apps employees already use. Others show up through the browser or get installed without any oversight. Frankly, AI usage is the biggest examples of Shadow IT I’ve ever seen. Most of these tools are completely invisible to IT.

The moment Apple announced iPadOS 26, it felt like us iPad users have finally been heard. For years the iPad has always been “almost there”. It had the powerful hardware, but the software made the experience too limited for most people. But now with iPadOS 26, that gap is almost gone. The new windowing system, improved multitasking, and better file management make the iPad feel more like a computer than it ever has before.
So the next natural question is, can an iPad be your one and only computer? Let’s break this all down.

When people ask me where to start with HomeKit, I usually give them a list of products that work well together that are easy to set up: a motion sensor, a door sensor, and maybe a camera if you want one. Aqara has made that question a lot easier to answer with its new Aqara Camera Protect Kit. It’s a true HomeKit starter kit in a box. You get a 2K camera that doubles as a Matter hub, plus three devices that cover most use cases right out of the gate.
