Ikea’s affordable HomeKit smart blinds have been highly anticipated as European and US launches neared. Back in January Ikea confirmed they’d be arriving stateside on April 1st, unfortunately that’s turned out to be an unintended April Fools’ joke.

After announcing it would be bringing a smart plug to its Tradfri lineup of HomeKit enabled accessories back in August, Ikea has made the new $10 device available for purchase. While Ikea brought HomeKit support to Tradfri devices last year, Ikea apparently needs more time before bringing support for Apple’s platform to the new smart plug.
Ikea’s smart home lineup will soon expand to includes smart blinds. The company confirmed its smart blinds back in September, and now we’re learning more about the pricing of those blinds. Teknikveckan suggests the Ikea smart blinds will start at just €99.95, or around $113.
