It’s September 12th and Apple Event Day has finally arrived. 9to5Mac’s Apple Event News Hub will be updated regularly throughout the day with the latest announcements from Apple. The event kicks off at 10 am PT/1 pm ET and we’ve already got loads of details confirmed before it actually starts. Read on for all the latest…
Prior to event day, 9to5Mac exclusively shared the first look at the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max in gold plus the first look at the Apple Watch Series 4 with a larger display and brand new watch face:

- ‘iPhone Xs Max’ likely name for 6.5-inch OLED flagship, sources say
Before the event even started today, the leaks continued with Apple’s sitemap confirming iPhone Xs, iPhone Xr, and iPhone Xs Max product names, six iPhone Xr colors, and the Apple Watch Series 4 with new sizes, gold stainless steel and gold Milanese Loop bands, and likely no ceramic Edition:
- Apple website leak confirms all three 2018 iPhone names; 512GB storage option

For those viewing on Twitter — a first this year — here’s the URL. The stream on Apple’s website is also live … and now the Apple TV app.
Oh, and a Tim Cook DM fail (presumably the fault of someone in marketing using the wrong app to message):
Show time!
Turns out the DM fail was a performance! The intro video was all about someone delivering the clicker to Tim.
