Kendrick Lamar takes over Apple Arcade hit ahead of Super Bowl halftime performance

If you haven’t heard, Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at the Apple Music Halftime Show during Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9. The rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs starts at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT, and there’s a free way to stream it in 4K this year.

Adding to the hype is an exclusive Apple Vision Pro experience through Apple Arcade. The immersive music game and Apple Design Award nominee Synth Riders is launching an exclusive Kendrick Lamar “HUMBLE.” Synth Riders Experience in anticipiation of the Apple Music Halftime Show.

Mythic Quest season four now streaming, as Apple TV+ starts teasing the upcoming spin-off

Video game studio comedy Mythic Quest returns today for season four on Apple TV+. The comedy features Rob McElhenney as Ian, a maverick game producer, and his surrounding team as they struggle to stay relevant in the modern gaming market.

Mythic Quest first premiered in February 2020, making it Apple’s longest-running comedy. Although there is no confirmation yet of a season five renewal, the service is about to launch a spin-off series — and has begun running trailers.

iOS 18.3 includes Starlink satellite connectivity for select iPhone users

Apple first introduced satellite connectivity features to the iPhone with the release of the iPhone 14 in 2022. The capability allows users to communicate with emergency services when out of range of traditional cellular connectivity. iOS 18 further upgraded the functionality to let users send messages to friends and family using satellite connectivity.

Apple initially partnered with Globalstar to power these satellite connectivity features for iPhone users. Now, Bloomberg reports that Apple has also been “secretly working with SpaceX and T-Mobile” to add Starlink satellite connectivity to the iPhone.
