iPhone 9to5Mac

Introduced in 2007 by Steve Jobs, iPhone is Apple’s flagship iOS device and easily its most popular product around the world. Software wise, it runs iOS and includes a large collection of mobile apps through the App Store.

Since its introduction, Apple has released at least one new phone every single year. In recent years, that has typically been in the fall. iPhones are sold through multiple retail channels including Apple Stores, cellular stores, Best Buy, and other major electronic retailers. iPhones can be bought with a single up front payment, financed through the iPhone Upgrade Program, or financed through a cellular carrier.

Apple’s smartphone has become much more than just a phone since its debut. The iPhone can act as your primary camera, music player, GPS device, email client, mobile banking system, messaging device, movie player, and much more.

Hands-on: This Qi2 MagSafe power bank has active cooling, but is it useful? Sharge IceMag 3 [Video]

The current MagSafe battery pack market is pretty insane right now. There are literally thousands of magnetic power banks all over Amazon. Most of them are the same: they attach to the back of your phone, trickle-charge your iPhone, and get warm the longer they charge. When you look for one on Amazon, they all look like slightly modified versions of the previous one. But every once in a while, you see one that actually looks, feels, and functions differently. That is exactly what the new Sharge IceMag 3 has. It’s fast, has a very unique look, and can do more than just charge your phone. Let’s take a look.

This case makes your iPhone feel caseless [Hands-on]

Over the years, I have tried 100s of iPhone cases, from rugged cases to leather cases, clear cases, and multifunctional wallet cases. And while these cases have their time and place, I always come back to the same type of case as my favorite: thin iPhone cases. There is just something about keeping the iPhone feeling like an iPhone that makes it enjoyable to use long-term. So when I saw Moft was releasing their new Movas Frame case, I had to give it a try. It was designed to be slim, light, and minimal while still adding protection. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and here is what you should know.

iPhone market share now bigger than Samsung, not just due to iPhone 17 | The entrance to an Apple store in Macau

After two years of Apple and Samsung being neck and neck in the smartphone market share stakes, iPhone market share beat out the Korean company by the end of last year, according to a new market intelligence report.

I love the iPhone Air, but two things stopped me from committing [Video]

The iPhone Air is the most exciting iPhone Apple has released since the iPhone X. It’s thin, lightweight, and amazingly designed, and for the first time in a long time, it’s different. Apple’s iPhone lineup has felt increasingly redundant. The iPhones have all looked and felt the same since the iPhone 11 lineup. So, excuse the pun, but the iPhone Air has been a genuine breath of fresh air. It prioritizes feel, design, and experience over chasing specs, and that is what makes it special. I put my main SIM card in the iPhone Air and, initially, I loved it. But after living with it day in and day out, two issues slowly but consistently stopped me from fully committing.

Leaker suggests future iPhones could get multispectral cameras

Leaker suggests future iPhones could get multispectral cameras | Purely conceptual image shows a bi-convex lens with rainbow patterns

Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station suggests that future iPhones may get multispectral camera sensors. While this could, in theory, provide improved color accuracy and better low-light performance, we shouldn’t get overly excited.

The technology has already been seen in a smartphone, but the results weren’t particularly impressive and the technology is mostly used in military and industrial cameras …

This is likely the iPhone Fold display, and it looks amazing

The is likely the iPhone Fold display, and it looks amazing

Samsung has shown off a prototype of a new folding display, and it seems very likely that this is the one that will be used for the iPhone Fold.

Apple had reportedly waited until the company was able to produce a display without a visible crease, and this one looks to fit the bill perfectly. The crease looks completely invisible in a photo and almost so in a video …
