ESR HaloLock dock keeps your iPhone cool with CryoBoost and includes built-in AirPods charging

ESR HaloLock

MagSafe charging has quickly become one of my favorite features added to the iPhone in the past few years. I’ve used countless chargers, docks, and car mounts since MagSafe was added to the iPhone 12 lineup. One of my recent additions to my desk was the ESR HaloLock 2-in-1 charger with CryoBoost. It’s a great option for charging your iPhone via MagSafe while keeping it cool. It also includes a great AirPods charger as well.

Review: HidrateSpark Steel water bottle with Apple Health integration

smart water bottle

Last month, Hidrate launched the HidrateSpark PRO STEEL with 32 oz (around 900 ml). This water bottle features a premium look and Apple Health integration and I must admit, I got a bit too excited about a water bottle that reminds me to drink water.

With that in mind, I decided to buy the HidrateSpark Steel water bottle with 21 oz (620 ml) a few weeks ago to understand whether it would improve my daily routine of drinking water to have a pretty nice bottle to carry around. Discover how it’s going below.

Disclaimer: HidrateSpark Steel and HidrateSpark PRO are the same water bottles, the company just rebranded the first with the latter.

Here’s a non-pro look at how the new 14″ MacBook Pro stacks up

M1 Pro MacBook Pro

In November, Apple launched the 2021 MacBook Pro. Available in two sizes (14- and 16-inch), the company also introduced two new chips, the M1 Pro and the M1 Max. While I thought this new Mac would be overkill to me – I didn’t need the ports, ProMotion, miniLED, or the processor – I recently broke my 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro and needed a replacement.

Between buying the entry-level 2020 M1 MacBook Air and the new 14-inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro, I decided to go with the latter. Here’s my review of this computer from a heavy but non-pro user perspective.

The iOS App Icon Book Review: a celebration of app icons of the past

the app icon book

It’s been nearly 15 years since the first iPhone was launched and almost as long since the creation of Apple’s App Store.
