This means that if you use an iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR, you can add a second eSIM line to your device directly from the My Verizon app.

Dual SIM is one of the big new features for the iPhone XS and iPhone XR and it was technically enabled with iOS 12.1. However, the big US carriers held back on supporting Dual SIM activations due to various reasons.
In an internal memo shared with 9to5Mac, Verizon is telling its employees that it now expects to launch Dual SIM activations for eSIM and physical SIMs in early December.
The major US carriers haven’t rolled out support for Apple’s Dual SIM/eSIM feature with the iPhone XS and XR yet. However, Verizon has today announced its own solution to using multiple numbers with one iPhone or Android smartphone called “My Numbers.”
