Designer Yiying Lu bridges art and technology with Illustrator on iPad

The teams at Adobe and a select group of artists have been busy refining the app’s tools and user experience since it was previewed in November 2019 at Adobe MAX. I asked one of those artists, Yiying Lu, about her experience with Illustrator on iPad so far and how it will shape the future of creativity.

Adobe Premiere Pro update brings Scene Edit Detection, HDR for broadcasters, more

Adobe Scene Detection Premiere Pro

In addition to opening Illustrator for iPad pre-orders, Adobe is out today with new features for Premiere Pro as well as After Effects and Audition. New for Premiere Pro includes Scene Edit Detections, HDR for broadcasters, and new Quick Export option. Meanwhile, After Effects is gaining updated camera navigation tools and more in the public beta.

Augmented reality has captured the excitement of tech companies and the creativity community, but a lack of approachable tools for creating AR content has slowed its growth and widespread acceptance. For AR to be as transformative as we’ve been promised, something has to change. Adobe thinks the answer is Aero, its new AR authoring tool debuting today on iPads and iPhones.
