With a theme of “Write code. Blow minds”, Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) for 2019 will take place from June 3rd through June 7th in San Jose, CA. It’s expected that Apple will demo iOS 13, watchOS 6, the next version of macOS, and enhancements to tvOS.

A keynote speech by Tim Cook and other Apple employees will kick off the  event. WWDC will also feature over 100 technical and design-focused sessions presented by Apple engineers to help build news apps using newly announced APIs. To learn more about the event, visit Apple’s WWDC website.

Apple unveils ARKit 3 with people occlusion, motion capture, multiple face tracking, and more

Apple has announced the latest update to its augmented reality platform with ARKit 3. The latest release brings some major new features like people occlusion, motion capture, multiple face tracking, simultaneous front and back camera use, and more.

Alongside the introduction of iOS 13, Apple has significantly updated its Design Resources with new tools for developers and designers that will help create consistent, usable, and visually pleasing apps. One of the biggest additions is a brand new set of configurable symbols and a companion macOS app called SF Symbols.

Today Apple previewed macOS Catalina and iPadOS, both of which include a new feature called Sidecar. Using an iPad and a Mac, Sidecar allows you to create an extended workspace by turning your iPad into a second, fully interactive display. Both displays can show different content or mirror each other.
