iOS 10 officially launches to the public tomorrow and one of the standout features of the update is an entirely new Messages app. In addition to interface tweaks, built-in GIF search, and new message sending effects, third-party apps can now build extensions for Messages. One of the first apps to hop on the Messages bandwagon is popular lyric annotation service Genius.
Before Apple built its Home app for HomeKit in iOS 10, Matthias Hochgatterer created the best HomeKit app around with the original Home app. Apple’s Home app on iOS 10 is built-in, free, and has its own panel on Control, but the third-party Home app is still the best solution if you’re in deep with HomeKit like me. The iOS 10 version includes updated widgets, a new design, a refreshed Apple Watch app, and a temporarily discounted price to mark the launch.
Previously available on Android only, Google today released its Cardboard Camera app for iPhone and iPad alongside new features for the experience.

Apple has been saying the future of TV is apps since it launched the Apple TV 4 last fall, and now Papa John’s is delivering on that pitch by letting you order pizza straight from your TV. Prisma first launched on iOS back in July, bringing AI-powered artistic photo filters to the iPhone.
