Apple itself has donated millions of masks as well as donating financial support. Last fall we showed you Nomad’s Horween Leather Case for iPhone 7 Plus which is a sturdy alternative to Apple’s similar cases, and now Nomad is back with a new Midnight Blue color joining the existing Rustic Brown option. This time we’re checking out Nomad’s $50 Leather Folio Wallet iPhone 7 Plus case which is wrapped in Horween Leather with Nomad’s new blue.
I’ve always liked the idea of using a battery case, but with a phone like the iPhone 7 Plus, a lack of battery life isn’t a problem that I encounter regularly enough to warrant the extra bulk. I also like the idea of a wallet case to help keep up with my driver’s license and credit cards, but with a phone as large as the iPhone 7 Plus, I find such a setup to be a tad unwieldy.
The folks over at Nomad have come up with a solution that seems to address both of my issues, and depending on your needs, it might be a worthwhile solution for you as well.
The company’s Bi-fold and Slim Leather Wallet give you a place to keep all of your credit cards, identification, and other necessary items in a standalone form factor. In other words, it’s a traditional wallet setup that’s completely independent of your iPhone. But the kicker here is that the Nomad wallets feature an integrated portable battery with a hideaway Lightning cable for charging your iPhone on the fly when you happen to need it.

Nomad is out today with a new Apple Watch band style made from silicone and stainless steel. The new Vulcanized LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) Silicone Strap retails for $39.95 which is $10 cheaper than either Apple’s Sport bands or Woven Nylon bands.

Apple isn’t the only strap maker expanding the Apple Watch band lineup with new leather colors this week. Nomad is introducing two new Strap colors for its leather Apple Watch bands: amber gray and rustic brown. The two new Nomad Straps join classic tan which debuted last fall, and all three Apple Watch bands come in 38mm and 42mm versions with either silver or black stainless steel lugs and buckles. Nomad is ending 2015 with a bang.
